Lakos PurgeMaster automatic particulate purging equipment is a battery powered device that will automatically purge the particles from your Lakos Separator purge chamber periodically. However, if you have an irrigation system with a timer that has an extra unused zone available on it, you may want to simply purchase a solenoid valve and set it up to purge your sand separator for 3 or 4 minutes each time the lawn is watered. This is a much less expensive way to get this job done and you don't have to worry about replacing batteries.
